Along the river Perro-fie
sat a woman in green
counting the dreadful mistakes she made
she was sought never to be seen.
The river water tantalized her
of how tainted she was
the hard rock pricked her feet
for the path they made her walk.
The wind was so unforgiving
it refused to lash her face,
The cloud mortified of her deeds,
struck it’s thunder ablaze.
Unable to attend her own sins
that made her life so wry,
along the river Perro-fie
she shut her eyes and cried.
Along the river Perro-fie
sat a woman in green,
the woman who was condemned by all
is none other than me
